Job summary

Ferrovial invites a hands-on Technical Innovation Leader to drive energy and infrastructure projects across its global units. You will identify transformative technologies, validate them through pilots, and build scalable business cases for senior leadership.

You will work across airports, energy and digital infrastructure, applying rigorous engineering judgment and stakeholder management to ensure practical, investable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, energy, mechanical or related engineering field.
• 8–12 years in corporate innovation, technical offices or critical asset operations (energy, renewables, data centers).
• Demonstrated engineering judgment and ability to defend a technical decision.
• Knowledge of energy and infrastructure systems: grid, electrification, storage, microgrids, control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy, sustainability and resilience projects from tech identification through pilots and scale-up.
• Design and run proofs of concept with internal and external partners, setting KPIs and gates.
• Translate technical options into clear business cases for senior leadership.
• Explore and assess low-carbon technologies and circularity implications.
