Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Senior Traffic & Revenue Engineer to lead the analysis and forecasting of traffic and revenue data for toll road projects. This role requires building sophisticated models, mentoring junior staff, and delivering data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of GIS/demand modeling tools. Strong communication and presentation abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in traffic and revenue forecasting, travel demand modeling, and traffic analysis.
• Strong background in toll road and managed lanes projects.
• Proficiency in micro-simulation tools (e.g., VISSIM, Aimsun) is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills; familiarity with Python, R, or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of complex traffic and socioeconomic data to develop forecasts.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced traffic and revenue models.
• Own spreadsheet-based models to forecast traffic and revenue for projects.
• Present forecasting results to supervisors and executives with confidence.
• Define, implement, analyze, and track traffic data collection programs.
