Job summary

Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Plant Mechanic to join our Rental Fleet team in Seven Hills, Sydney, to service Komatsu rental equipment. This hands-on workshop role focuses on diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, ensuring machines are ready for customers.

You will diagnose faults, perform servicing, maintain documentation and support the rental lifecycle while working safely and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mobile / Plant Mechanic trade qualification.
• Experience on mobile plant or heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
• Open class driver's licence.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• A strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair Komatsu rental equipment.
• Complete machine testing, adjustments and fault finding.
• Complete service, condition, warranty and PM documentation.
• Support machine inspections, stocktakes and the Rental-to-Used process.

We're looking for a Qualified Plant Mechanic to join our Rental Fleet team at Seven Hills as a Workshop Technician.

This is a hands-on workshop role working on Komatsu rental equipment, with a focus on machine diagnostics, maintenance and repairs. You'll be responsible for helping keep equipment in good working order and ready to return to our customers.

You'll work across a range of equipment and tasks, from fault finding and repairs through to machine inspections, reporting and supporting the movement of equipment through the rental lifecycle.

What you’ll do
