Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Bluebird Underground Gold Mine near Meekatharra, WA. This full-time role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance across mining equipment and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Required include 5+ years in mechanical maintenance within underground mining, 2+ years as a Maintenance Planner, and CMMS experience (Pronto preferred). Competitive salary, strong benefits, and a supportive team culture await.

• Organise work orders, parts and labour for maintenance activities.
• Analyse risk of equipment failure and control maintenance costs.

Full-time, permanent position based at our Bluebird Underground Gold Mine near Meekatharra.

Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 15% STI bonus + Superannuation.

THE ROLE

• Plan and coordinate the maintenance of all Bluebird mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop maintenance strategies, as well as schedule, coordinate, and monitor the maintenance of all mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Working with the Senior Maintenance Planners to safely, efficiently and cost effectively maintain all assets.
• Organise schedules and work orders for the mobile maintenance team.
• Organise parts and labour needed in a timely manner for future works, contractor labour and offsite repairs to minimise disruption to the mining operations.
• Analyse the risk of equipment failure, undertake performance measurement and ensure that maintenance costs are kept as low as possible.

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence.
• Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences.
• Minimum 5 years’ mechanical maintenance experience in an underground mining environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance Planner role or similar role.
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired).
• Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
• Strong experience with controlling maintenance costs and expenses.
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment.
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable.
• Excellent communication skills.
