Job summary

Mini Masterminds is seeking a Maintenance Officer / Professional Handyman to support a network of childcare centres across the Greater Sydney Metro region. The role is full-time, mobile and hands-on, with a company van, tools and a work phone provided to carry out repairs and general upkeep.

You will work closely with Centre Directors to identify needs, prioritise tasks and complete scheduled works, while travelling between sites and ensuring high safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience across multiple locations.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload.
• Comfortable working around children and teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs, maintenance and handyman tasks across centres.
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, shelving, fittings and furniture.
• Assemble and install equipment and fixtures as required.
• Organise subcontractors or suppliers as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent jobs.
• Maintain tools, equipment and the company vehicle.
• Follow safety policies and centre requirements.
