Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Coordinator to join our operations team in Western Australia. You will coordinate workforce allocation, rostering, and scheduling across multiple sites and projects to meet operational needs for major resource clients.

The role reports to the Workforce Planning Manager and requires close collaboration with recruitment, mobilisation, operations, and site stakeholders to ensure the right people are in the right place.

Qualifications

• Experience in workforce planning, rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination.
• Experience in mining, resources, labour hire, FIFO or project environments.
• Strong understanding of workforce utilisation and fatigue management principles.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Advanced administration and coordination capabilities.
• Experience supporting major mining clients such as Rio Tinto and Fortescue (FMG) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workforce rosters and scheduling across multiple projects and client sites.
• Manage workforce utilisation and resource allocation.
• Monitor fatigue management requirements and workforce compliance.
• Support operational planning and workforce forecasting.
• Liaise with operations teams, mobilisation coordinators, and recruiters to meet workforce needs.
• Respond to changing operational demands and shortages.
• Maintain accurate workforce records and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within workforce planning.
