Job summary

ISS Integrated Serv P/L is seeking an experienced FIFO Housekeeping Supervisor to lead cleaning operations at our remote mining village in Central Queensland. The role is a full-time FIFO position on a 9 days on, 5 days off roster, with a competitive base salary and on-site meals and accommodation provided.

You will lead a team, plan schedules, uphold safety standards, conduct inspections, manage supplies, and work closely with Site Manager to ensure a welcoming, clean environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and manage a team.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety requirements.
• Highly organised and proactive with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality results.
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Promote a strong safety culture and build a positive team environment.
• Conduct regular room and facility inspections to ensure compliance and high standards.
• Manage stock control, cleaning supplies, equipment, and ordering.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and other departments to support daily village operations.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to support growth and performance.
