Job summary

Mining Skills Australia in Brisbane CBD is seeking a Training Manager to lead the Training Department, ensuring daily operations align with strategic goals. You will collaborate with other Departmental Managers under the Managing Director's guidance.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, and the ability to drive proposals, client reporting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mining operations would be extremely beneficial.
• Strong communication and engagement with stakeholders.
• Proactive to complete tasks and thrive under pressure.
• Meticulous with vision to plan future projects.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and accountability.
• Positive work ethics and sense of responsibility.
• Experience with writing/formatting client project reports is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Organize and plan day-to-day activities based on the project plan.
• Establish deadlines and ensure projects are completed on time.
• Meet clients’ requirements and send updates to stakeholders regularly.
• Draft and submit proposals and tenders as required.
• Work within client and departmental budgets.
• Manage projects including operational and reporting requirements.
• Oversee departmental forecasts, budgets, revenue targets and cost analysis.
• Regularly communicate project status through weekly meetings.
• Advise senior management on issues and implement solutions.
