Job summary

Capital Limited is seeking an Operations Training Manager for Mining and Drilling to design, implement, and manage technical and operational training programs. The role ensures workforce capability, regulatory compliance, and safe, efficient operations across projects with extensive international travel.

You will lead the L&D function, drive digitization, embed competency frameworks, and collaborate with PMs, HSE, HR and operations to close training gaps and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing operational training programs in mining/drilling.
• Proven ability to implement competency frameworks and VOC.
• Strong with LMS, digital learning, and training analytics.
• Knowledge of regulatory and client standards in mining.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Group operational training framework.
• Lead trainers and assessors across multiple sites and projects.
• Drive LMS strategy, competency dashboards and digital learning content.
• Manage external training providers and certification programs.
• Report to leadership on training effectiveness and risks.
