Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a qualified CHPP/Wash Plant operator for an on-site role in Mackay Regional, Queensland. You will operate within the CHPP department, perform pre-start checks, and maintain basic machine care while adhering to site safety standards.

Rostered 7 days on/off with 12.5-hour shifts; competitive hourly pay of $77.73, with on-site camp facilities and meals provided. Prior CHPP/Wash Plant experience and a current Standard 11 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in CHPP/Wash Plant operations.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Current driver’s license and Standard 11 certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the CHPP Department on site.
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic machine care.
• Work safely following site procedures and standards.
• Contribute to production targets in a team environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating within the CHPP Department on site
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic machine care
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and standards
• Contributing to production targets within a team environment

What You Will Need

• Previous experience working within CHPP/Wash Plant
• Previous experience operating Komatsu D475 Dozers or CAT D10T/D11T Dozers
• Current Standard 11 or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Current Driver’s licence
