Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Structural Engineer to design, analyse and optimise structural systems across mining and processing projects. You will work within a collaborative engineering team to deliver safe, high-quality design outputs.

The role requires a degree in structural or civil engineering and around 3+ years in detailed design. Proficiency with Strand7 and SpaceGass is valued, along with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• Approximately 3+ years of detailed design experience in mining or mineral processing projects.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design.
• Experience analysing and designing structural systems for safety and durability.
• Membership with Engineers Australia or relevant body is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design documentation, calculations, specifications and reports.
• Perform structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural requirements into project delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand project needs and provide technical guidance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the project team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
