Orica in New South Wales is seeking a Supervisor - Cobar/North Parkes Region to lead onsite teams and deliver safety‑critical operations across Cobar and North Parkes. This permanent role operates on a 5 days on / 2 days off roster and offers the chance to lead site teams and build strong customer partnerships.

Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will drive SHES, coordinate resources, manage budgets, and deliver outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance and Orica standards.

Formación

• Leadership experience in safety-critical operations.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating operational resources to achieve business outcomes.
• Strong planning, organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication with employees, customers, contractors and regulators.
• Current and valid driver’s licence and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and champion a strong safety culture, ensuring SHES compliance, regulatory obligations, site procedures and Permit to Work processes.
• Manage day-to-day operations across the Cobar and North Parkes Region, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable delivery of products and services.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage service commitments and contract KPIs, identify opportunities to deliver additional value.
• Lead, coach and develop site teams through training, performance management, succession planning and engagement.
• Coordinate people, equipment, inventory and site resources while supporting budgeting, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance through audits, inspections, inventory management, preventative maintenance programs, training records and regulatory reporting.
