Job summary

Orora is seeking a Safety Lead to collaborate with site operations on HSE compliance at the Canning Vale Can Manufacturing site in Perth. You will conduct risk assessments, support incident investigations, ensure regulatory compliance and oversee safety training programs.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in WHS or related field with 3–5 years in manufacturing or high-risk environments, and are hands-on with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and incident investigation practices.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to drive accountability for health, safety and environmental outcomes.
• Provide expert HSE guidance, coaching and mentoring to build capability across teams.
• Lead risk management activities, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with WHS legislation and environmental requirements.
• Facilitate audits, inspections and governance activities to keep HSE plans on track.
• Drive continuous safety improvements through effective communication and training.
