Job summary

Orica is seeking a Supervisor for the Cobar/North Parkes region in New South Wales. The role leads onsite teams, manages operations across Cobar and North Parkes, and drives safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence on a 5 days on / 2 days off roster.

Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will ensure resources, equipment, and personnel meet customer demand while aligning with SHES, quality, and project initiatives, including ongoing North Parkes activities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in mining, mining services, manufacturing, or other safety-critical environments.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating operational resources to achieve outcomes.
• Strong planning, organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication with employees, customers, contractors, and regulators.
• Current and valid driver's licence; proficient with business systems including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across the Cobar and North Parkes Region, ensuring safe, efficient service delivery.
• Promote safety culture and ensure SHES compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and manage contract KPIs.
• Coach and develop site teams; support training and performance management.
• Coordinate people, equipment, inventory and site resources; support budgeting and cost control.
• Maintain compliance via audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
