Job summary

Catalyst Metals is seeking a Shutdown Planner to lead the development and coordination of processing-plant shutdowns at the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA. You will work with Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain to define scopes, schedules and readiness, ensuring safe, cost-efficient shutdowns that maximise asset reliability.

Applicants should have mining or heavy-industry shutdown planning experience, CMMS proficiency (Pronto or similar), and strong communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and coordinating shutdowns in mining or heavy industry.
• Ability to develop work scopes, resource estimates and detailed schedules.
• Proficiency with Pronto or similar CMMS and scheduling tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain shutdown scopes, work packs and schedules.
• Coordinate labour, contractors, equipment and materials for shutdowns.
• Liaise with Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain on access, isolations and readiness.
• Review maintenance backlogs and statutory requirements to prioritise work.
• Support shutdown budgeting, cost control and scope management.
• Monitor performance and coordinate post-shutdown reviews.
