Fortescue invites applications for the Planner & Scheduler – HME Shutdown Execution at Eliwana, Western Australia. This role develops fully resourced, execution-ready shutdown plans for heavy mobile mining equipment and coordinates with maintenance, reliability and operations teams to keep fleet availability high.

The 4/3 FIFO roster from Perth applies; you will prepare work packs, manage scopes, labour, materials and access requirements, and ensure safety and governance standards are met.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning or scheduling in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience planning shutdowns or major maintenance for heavy mobile equipment.
• Understanding of work management processes, maintenance scopes and resource planning.
• Australian-recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification; mobile plant background desirable.
• Engineering qualification is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SAP or CMMS; proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain shutdown scopes and schedules for heavy mobile equipment.
• Identify shutdown work with maintenance teams and SMEs.
• Prepare detailed execution-ready work packs with labour, duration, parts and tools.
• Sequence shutdown activities around equipment availability and constraints.
• Coordinate with operations, supply and contractors for readiness.
• Monitor readiness and follow up on outstanding actions before execution.
• Ensure work is risk-assessed and meets safety and governance standards.
• Support execution teams with schedule updates and resolve constraints.
• Review completed shutdowns and capture lessons learned for improvements.
• Maintain accurate work orders and shutdown data in SAP or other systems.
