Job summary
WesTrac is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for our Mining Sales Team in NSW, Mt Thorley. This full-time role offers a fully maintained company vehicle and a rewarding commission scheme.
You will build strong relationships with underground coal customers, identify opportunities for component reclamation, rebuild and fabrication solutions, and help maximise value from equipment. Collaborating with customers and internal teams, you will drive recurring work, support longwall maintenance
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, business development or customer-facing roles.
- Ability to build relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with underground coal customers and identify opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and present tailored solutions that deliver value.
- Generate new opportunities through networking, industry engagement and proactive BD.
- Prepare compelling proposals for reclamation, hydraulic repair and fabrication solutions.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities and manage risk.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation, contract award and account management.
