Job summary

Whitehaven Coal, a leading Australian mining company, seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Blackwater operation. You will oversee planning, execution and delivery of a portfolio of vital mining projects, ensuring safety, on-time completion and budget adherence.

You will work closely with site teams, contractors and engineering disciplines to deliver outcomes that support the operation’s success. Strong leadership and planning skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in Engineering are required.
• Experience delivering mining projects and managing construction, infrastructure, maintenance or capital works.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of site-based projects.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare project reports and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and project execution excellence.
