Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is seeking experienced Project Execution Supervisors to join the Blackwater Mine project team. You will provide day-to-day oversight of construction activities, ensure work is completed safely and in line with schedules and quality requirements, and act as the interface between contractors, project teams and site operations.

This role targets hands-on construction professionals who thrive in a dynamic mining environment, leading frontline project delivery activities with a focus

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in mining, construction or major projects.
• Project delivery experience within mining operations is highly regarded.
• Relevant statutory tickets and certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate project execution activities.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity and compliance with site requirements.
• Ensure all works are conducted in accordance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily project activities and interfaces with operational teams.
• Conduct field inspections, audits and verification of completed works.
• Assist with project scheduling, planning and resource coordination.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Provide accurate reporting on project progress, safety and performance metrics.

Whitehaven is seeking experienced and safety-focused Project Execution Supervisors to join our growing Project Team at Blackwater Mine.
Reporting to the Construction Projects Lead, these roles are responsible for coordinating and supervising the safe and efficient execution of construction and infrastructure projects across site. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.

About the Role

As a Project Execution Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day oversight of project construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.
