Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, deliver and commission mining-related projects safely, on time, and within budget at the CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW. The role supports engineering, construction, maintenance and improvements across mine infrastructure, processing plants, and underground operations.

Reporting to the Projects Superintendent, this on-site position runs on an 8/6 days roster, collaborating with operations, contractors and vendors to

Qualifications

Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or similar discipline.
Mining, construction, heavy industry, or resources project experience.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Knowledge of mining safety regulations and site procedures.
Proficiency with scheduling/reporting tools such as MS Project and Primavera.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects and project execution.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including design, procurement, and construction.
Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
Monitor progress with cost, schedule and risk reporting.
