Harmony Australasia is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to lead the mining engineering team at CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW. The role focuses on safe, efficient underground design, including stoping, development, and ventilation, with strong oversight of drill and blast design and cost controls.
You will mentor the team, drive continuous improvement, and partner with production to optimise plans while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards. Local candidates are preferred.
Are you a passionate mining professional with strong design skills and leadership ability? We are seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer, who will be responsible for the oversight of the mining engineering team and to verify that design work is optimised, practical and effective. The role requires a strong focus on technical design work including stope design, drill and blast design and development design as well as strong personnel management skills.
This role will be based onsite in Cobar, NSW working an 8/6 days FIFO roster from Brisbane or Sydney with local candidates highly regarded.
All candidates must have the right to live and work in Australia and will be required to undertake a comprehensive pre-employment medical screen, including drug and alcohol testing.
