Job summary

Harmony Australasia in Queensland is seeking an experienced Paste Plant Operator to safely and efficiently run the paste fill plant, ensuring produced material meets specification for underground mining activities. This role demands vigilance and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

You will work on a 7/7 days and nights rotational roster on a residential basis, monitoring performance, performing inspections, and supporting start-up/shutdown and isolation activities with

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mining, mineral processing, or fixed plant operations is desirable, with paste plant operating experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Sound understanding of thickening, slurry handling, pumping, and dewatering systems
• Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify and respond to equipment issues
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Current C Class Driving Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
