Job summary

Emeco in Queensland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead mobile plant maintenance across our mining sites. You will drive reliability, operational efficiency and a strong safety culture while delivering visible leadership from the front.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in heavy mobile equipment maintenance with leadership exposure.
• Strong commitment to safety with ability to identify risks and drive outcomes.
• Proven ability to build client and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience developing maintenance processes and continuous improvement for mining operations.
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
• Commercial awareness balancing operational performance and customer expectations.
• Adaptable leader in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Excellent communication to influence and collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall site maintenance activities to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
• Carry out regular inspections of all mobile equipment on site to ensure condition and presentation standards.
• Lead maintenance team, provide leadership and technical support; ensure team ownership of tasks.
• Actively demonstrate and promote a high level of safety awareness and safe work practices.
• Be involved in accident/incident investigations with the regional HSE Superintendent.
