Zusammenfassung

The NSW Minerals Council in Sydney is seeking a motivated events professional to help plan and run mining industry events across Sydney and regional NSW. You will join a small in-house team delivering a range of events from award dinners to multi-day conferences, with close collaboration to a partner events production agency.

You will manage budgets, timelines, speakers and communications while coordinating sponsorships and run sheets.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of events management experience in agency or in-house.
• Experience coordinating awards programs is preferred.
• Experience in sponsorship coordination preferred.
• Proficient with Canva for in-house design and promo material.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Budget management and reporting experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.

Aufgaben

• Planning and delivering events from initial brief and budget through to onsite execution, evaluation and reconciliation
• Managing timelines, venues, suppliers, registrations and event operations
• Coordinating larger conferences and awards dinners with our external event agency
• Managing annual awards processes, including nominations, judging and finalist communications
• Coordinating sponsorships and delivery of agreed benefits
• Working with policy directors and the events team on programs, speakers, communications and promotions
• Preparing event plans and run sheets, and coordinating onsite staff and suppliers
• Managing multiple events and competing deadlines
