Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an Emergency Response and Security Officer to lead preparedness and security across Cowal Gold Operation. You will help keep people, assets and operations safe while ensuring a strong safety culture across the site.

You’ll develop a highly capable Emergency Response Team, run drills and training, and continually improve emergency planning, governance and risk management with site leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in emergency response within mining, resources or a similar high risk environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with coaching and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of emergency preparedness, incident response and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen the site’s emergency response and security capability.
• Develop a highly trained and prepared Emergency Response Team through coaching and mentoring.
• Drive drills, exercises and training programs to build confidence and readiness.
• Maintain and enhance emergency response, security and safety management systems for compliance.
• Partner with leaders to deliver effective emergency planning and risk management outcomes.
