Job summary

MRAEL in Queensland is offering an Electrical Apprenticeship hosted at Centurion Mine, commencing January 2027. The role provides hands-on experience under experienced tradespeople in a high-performing underground operation.

The program focuses on developing skills in electrical fault finding, diagnostics and safe operations, with a 9-day fortnight roster and Drive-In Drive-Out accommodation options for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete trade training and apprenticeship requirements.
• Assist with inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of underground electrical equipment.
• Support planned maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
• Develop skills in electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
• Learn to work safely with high- and low-voltage equipment.
