Job summary

Evolution Mining invites applications for a four-year Apprenticeship Program at Northparkes Operations. You will receive hands-on electrical maintenance training, attend TAFE, and access accommodation support as required.

The roster is a Monday–Friday with a 9-day fortnight, focusing on safe operation and continuous skill development. You will contribute to reliability and safe operation of fixed and mobile plant, perform preventative maintenance, and complete training requirements while

Qualifications

Completion of Year 12 and a current Driver’s Licence.
Interest in electrical trades and hands-on learning.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively and use computers/digital systems.

Responsibilities

Drive a strong safety culture through active caring and accountability.
Complete risk assessments and follow safety systems and procedures.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including IT networks.
Attend TAFE and complete formal training requirements.
Perform preventative maintenance and shutdown repairs on high/low voltage infrastructure.
Identify defects and provide feedback on work orders.
Support maintenance planning and equipment upgrades.
Maintain schedule compliance and promote maintenance best practices.
Demonstrate Evolution Mining values in daily work.
