Job summary

TAKRAF GmbH in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive profitable capital equipment sales by identifying opportunities and managing the full tender and negotiation cycle.

You will build strong relationships with mine owners, EPC/EPCM contractors and engineering houses, lead proposals, and coordinate with Process, Engineering and Projects teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions and favorable commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience selling mining capital equipment (3+ years).
• Proven track record of securing orders and meeting sales targets.
• Ability to build relationships with mine owners, EPC/EPCM contractors and engineering houses.
• Strong commercial acumen with tendering, pricing and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with mine owners/operators, EPC/EPCM contractors, engineering houses and consultants.
• Understand customer project plans and procurement strategies to position solutions.
• Lead end-to-end sales, from opportunity to tender, negotiation and award.
• Coordinate with internal teams to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Develop bid strategies, pricing, margins to maximise competitiveness.
• Lead customer presentations, clarifications and contract finalisation.
• Identify new business and monitor competitor activity; maintain CRM records.
