Job summary

Intertek in Australia is seeking a Sample Preparer to operate mills, splitters and crushers for mineral samples. The role includes sorting, weighing, drying and bagging samples, while adhering to safety and quality procedures. Shifts run Monday to Friday on a rotating 6am–2pm or 2pm–10pm schedule; weekend work may be required to meet demand.

• Previous Sample Prep experience preferred.
• Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to perform manual handling, stand for long periods and lift 15-20kg safely.

Responsibilities

• Sort samples, weigh samples, and dry samples.
• Operate mills, splitters and crushers; bag samples.
• Follow all Intertek policies, including safety, quality, and HR.
