Job summary

Harmony Australasia seeks an experienced Project Engineer for CSA Mine to plan, coordinate, deliver and commission mining projects safely, on time and within budget. You will support engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations across mine infrastructure, processing plants, and underground operations.

The role reports to the Projects Superintendent and operates on an 8/6 days roster, liaising with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to meet technical, safety, environmental and

Qualifications

• Must hold an Engineering degree in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical).
• Experience delivering mining, construction, heavy industry, or resources projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and safety regulations.
• Proficient with scheduling/reporting tools such as MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, delivery of engineering projects and project execution.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, procurement and construction.
• Review/approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor progress with cost, schedule and risk updates.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; ensure WHS compliance.
