Job summary
The National Group is seeking a maintenance supervisor at Dawson mine site in Queensland. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure preventative maintenance and high equipment availability on Liebherr, Komatsu and CAT mobile mining fleet, and report to the Maintenance Superintendent.
Essentially you will bring a trade certificate with 5+ years post‑trade experience, S1/S2/S3&G2 tickets, strong diagnostics skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a privatized mining
Qualifications
- Australian recognised trade completion certificate and minimum 5 years post trade experience.
- Current S1, S2, S3 & G2 tickets (or equivalent).
- Experience working on Liebherr, Komatsu and CAT mobile mining equipment is essential.
- Ex‑OEM experience highly regarded.
- Current QLD ResHealth Medical and Standard 11 required.
- Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills.
Responsibilities
- Permanent full-time role.
- Based out of Dawson mine site.
- Report to the Maintenance Superintendent.
- Preventative maintenance and availability.
- Provide leadership and supervision to our maintenance team.
- Assist the team on the tools as required.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Contribute towards any improvements or initiatives relating to productivity or costs.
