Job summary

iContracting Pty Ltd, a major civil contracting group in Australia, seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee mine-site workshop operations and a mixed fleet of civil and mining equipment. You will supervise workshop and field maintenance, plan preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs and lead tradespeople.

The role requires at least 2 years of mine-site supervision, a Mechanical Trade certificate, S26 Supervisory Qualification, and strong planning/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Mine-site supervision experience required (2+ years).
• Trade certificate in Diesel/Heavy Plant mechanics.
• S26 Supervisory Qualification.
• Experience leading workshop teams in civil/mining environment.
• Strong understanding of mobile plant maintenance systems and scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting and planning.
• Valid HR/HC drivers license preferred.
• First Aid & CPR desirable.
• Familiarity with major mining client systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workshop and field maintenance for light and heavy mobile plant.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs and breakdowns.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to tradespeople and service personnel.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time and to OEM and site standards.
• Manage parts, consumables and maintenance records.
• Liaise with project teams and site supervisors to align maintenance priorities.
• Maintain high safety, quality and housekeeping standards in the workshop.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
