Job summary

Myndshift Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a major mining operation at Callide Mine, near Biloela, Queensland. You will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and lead workshop maintenance crews to deliver the maintenance plan safely and efficiently.

Role focuses on driving safety performance, developing a strong team, and ensuring equipment availability and reliability. A strong Leading Hand with supervisory potential will also be considered for progression.

Qualifications

• Australian trade qualification required with extensive mining maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining mining plant and equipment.
• G1, G8, G9 and G2 tickets essential; standard 11; current driver's license.
• First Aid Certificate; coal board medical or willingness to complete.

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a major mining operation at Callide Mine, near Biloela, Queensland.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you'll lead workshop maintenance crews to safely and efficiently deliver the maintenance plan.
You’ll play a key role in driving safety performance, developing your team, managing maintenance activities and ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, or a strong Leading Hand ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.

What You'll Need

• Australian trade qualification with extensive mining maintenance experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining mining plant and equipment
• Previous Maintenance Supervisor experience preferred; strong Leading Hands will be considered
• G1, G8, G9 and G2 tickets essential
• Standard 11
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Strong safety leadership and people management skills
• Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Current Coal Board Medical, or willingness to complete
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Experience with Komatsu 5500, Liebherr 996B or 930E trucks highly regarded
