Job summary

Bright Australia (Ausway Migration) is seeking an experienced Migration Agent to join our legal team in Melbourne VIC 3000 on a full-time basis. You will provide expert migration law advice and representation to our diverse client base, working in our Melbourne office with flexible arrangements as needed.

The role requires OMARA registration, substantial migration law and visa processing experience, and fluency in Chinese.

Qualifications

Current OMARA registration to practice migration law.
Substantial migration law and visa processing experience.
Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on migration options, visa pathways and eligibility.
Prepare and lodge visa applications with the Department of Home Affairs.
Represent clients in migration matters and liaise with government authorities.
Draft migration-related documents and legal correspondence.
Review client documentation to identify issues and risks.
Maintain accurate case files and client records for compliance.
Provide strategic advice on complex migration matters to individuals and corporate clients.
Keep up to date with changes in migration law and policy.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality service.
