Job summary

Service Stream in Clayton South (VIC) is seeking a Meter Installer to join our metering team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in Clayton South, you will support the South East Water digital meter replacement program and report to the Field Supervisor.

Ideal candidates will have metering experience (water sector preferred) and complete internal training. You will install water meters, follow HSE policies, maintain quality, and work with teammates to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in the metering field is essential.
• Water sector experience is preferable.
• Internal training provided by the employer.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting to meet targets associated with the South East Water digital meter replacement program. Based in Clayton South (VIC), and offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of water meters
• Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with HSE policies and procedures of the company and relevant state and national legislation
• Maintaining a high quality of work through compliance with associated work instructions and procedures
• Ensure regular daily contact with their supervisor
• Actively work with and support other team members and/or company employees to achieve business goals
• Attend and participate in team/ divisional activities, meetings, and day to day work activities demonstrating respect and consideration for individuals and their experiences and expertise

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in the metering field is essential, water sector preferable
• Relevant internally delivered training
