Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Meter Reader to service mainly Mickleham and surrounding towns. You will walk an allocated neighbourhood, taking and recording utility meter readings with no prior experience required. Immediate start available, with full training, PPE, and uniform provided.

You will work Mon-Fri, 25–38 hours per week, travelling daily as needed. This role involves outdoor work, independence, and using a handheld device to upload readings.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver’s licence.
• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
• Ready to learn and able to work on your own.
• Able to undertake walking, bending and squatting.
• Able to work Mon-Fri, 25–38 hours per week.
• Flexible with daily travel up to 45 minutes each way.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Uphold Service Stream safety standards and represent the company professionally.
• Understand and ensure targets are met.
• Work independently but also with other team members.
• Regularly communicate with office support team.
• Upload/download route information to/from handheld device.

About the Role

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Meter Reader to service primarily Mickleham and surrounding towns - Kalkallo, Donnybrook, Beveridge. What you need
