Job summary

Service Stream is seeking Meter Readers to join our Adelaide Metropolitan and regional teams on a new SA Water contract. No experience required, we will train you, provide PPE, and support a healthy outdoor lifestyle.

You will walk allocated meter routes, read meters accurately, and upload data using a handheld device. Reliable transport and a positive attitude are essential; typical shifts Monday to Friday with travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver's licence.
• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
• Ready to learn and able to work on your own.
• Able to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting.
• Able to work in most weather conditions.
• We work Monday to Friday, days and hours vary according to schedules.
• Flexible with daily travel up to 45 minutes each way.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Uphold safety standards and represent Service Stream and clients professionally.
• Understand and ensure targets are met.
• Ability to work independently but also with other team members.
• Regularly communicate with office support team.
• Upload/download route information to/from hand-held device.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our new Meter Reading contract with SA Water. No experience necessary. All training and PPE supplied. Support a fit, healthy, and active lifestyle. Work outdoors.
