Job summary

be Around GmbH is seeking a Meter Installer to join our Metering team in Clayton South, VIC. This permanent, full-time role supports South East Water's digital meter replacement program and reports to the Field Supervisor.

Based in Clayton South, you’ll help deliver essential metering services on a permanent basis. You will install water meters, follow HSE policies, and work closely with the team to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Previous metering experience is essential (water sector preferable).
• Current driver’s licence is required.
• Relevant internally delivered training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Installation of water meters.
• Ensure all tasks comply with HSE policies and applicable legislation.
• Maintain high quality of work through approved procedures.
• Maintain regular daily contact with your supervisor.
• Support other team members to achieve business goals.

About the Role

Service Stream’s Energy and Water division are currently seeking a Meter Installer to join our Metering team. Reporting directly to the Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting to meet targets associated with the South East Water digital meter replacement program. Based in Clayton South (VIC), and offered on a Permanent, Full Time basis, this position offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of water meters
• Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with HSE policies and procedures of the company and relevant state and national legislation
• Maintaining a high quality of work through compliance with associated work instructions and procedures
• Ensure regular daily contact with their supervisor
• Actively work with and support other team members and/or company employees to achieve business goals
• Attend and participate in team/ divisional activities, meetings, and day to day work activities demonstrating respect and consideration for individuals and their experiences and expertise

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in the metering field is essential, water sector preferable
