Job summary

Nestlé Gympie is seeking an Electrical Automation (E&A) Engineer to lead MES-E&A systems at our Gympie factory, supporting iconic brands NESCAFÉ and INTERNATIONAL ROAST. You will drive safety, quality, and environmental compliance while owning MES-E&A assets and projects.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will coordinate requirements, lead capital projects, and train operators and maintenance crews to ensure reliable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics required.
• 4+ years in a senior electrical/automation leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and project delivery.
• Strong leadership and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES-E&A projects and ensure safety, quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance to gather requirements.
• Define specifications and manage solution development, testing and training.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and calibration standards and EFCA.
• Drive continuous improvement and site-level engineering tools implementation.
