Paymath Australia is hiring a Sales Executive in Sydney to drive new business for card processing, from first contact to onboarding. You’ll hunt merchants across hospitality, retail and e-commerce with calls, visits and online meetings.

You’ll analyze statements, demonstrate savings, handle objections and close the full sale. You’ll thrive on building a book of business from zero, with uncapped commission and a base salary backed by superannuation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a quota-carrying B2B sales role, mostly through door-to-door.
• Selling to small businesses where you earned every meeting.
• You like picking up the phone and walking through a door uninvited.
• Reading a merchant statement and explaining it clearly.
• Comfortable with margins, rates and savings.
• Handling competitors and staying in control of the pipeline.

Responsibilities

• New business: Prospect and close small and mid-sized merchants across hospitality, retail and e-commerce — by phone, in person and online.
• Engage with 25 to 30 merchants per day through in-person sales, door knocking and outreach.
• Analyze merchant statements and show potential savings line-by-line.
• Manage the full sale: discovery, proposal, objections, close.
• Guide merchants through applications, KYC and setup with processing partners.
• Turn warm referrals into signed merchants from POS software partners and industry associations.
• Keep HubSpot updated with every lead, call, quote and deal.
