Mind Australia is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker for a permanent part-time role in the Sunshine area. The position involves a 24/7 rotating roster with sleepover shifts, supporting adults with psychosocial disability to achieve wellbeing and independent living, with an hourly rate of $36.22–$39.53 plus super and benefits.
The role sits within the Complex Care program which provides 1-1 and group supports, living skills development and community integration.
Qualificações
- Minimum Certificate III in Mental Health or related field.
- Experience working with people with mental health issues.
- Ability to mentor and build social connections with clients.
- Experience facilitating group activities desirable.
- Knowledge of community services and collaboration with providers.
Responsabilidades
- Deliver high quality services and facilitate educational and social experiences.
- Support clients to return to their community, live independently and pursue a meaningful life.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing psychosocial support.
- Plan and deliver group programs to build skills and support recovery.
- Collaborate with services and the community to coordinate recovery goals.
