Job summary

Mind Australia Sunshine is seeking a Part-time Mental Health Support Worker to provide empathic, recovery‑oriented supports in a 24/7 roster with sleepover shifts. The role focuses on helping adults aged 18–64 live independently, build daily living skills and strengthen community connections within SDA housing services.

The position offers hourly pay between $36.22 and $39.53 plus super and benefits, with salary packaging and other allowances.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate III) in mental health or related field.
• Experience supporting people with mental health challenges.
• Ability to work in 24/7 rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality services and facilitate positive educational and social experiences.
• Support clients to return to their community and live independently.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Plan and deliver group programs to build skills and support recovery.
