Job summary

Coast & Country Primary Care (CCPC) is seeking a Peer Worker to join the multidisciplinary team delivering Psychological Therapies for Underserviced Populations across Bathurst and surrounding region. You will use lived experience to support recovery, advocate and help clients navigate services.

The role requires Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or equivalent and the ability to travel within Western NSW. Full-time is preferred, with part-time or casual options considered.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient and accurate documentation and report writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support staff.

Responsibilities

• Utilise lived experience to engage and support recovery.
• Develop trusting relationships to promote engagement with services.
• Assist consumers to navigate health and social support systems.
