Job summary

Coast & Country Primary Care in Dubbo seeks a Mental Health Intake Officer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering Psychological Therapies for Underserviced Populations. You’ll provide a consumer-centred first point of contact, coordinate referrals, perform initial intake and triage, and support waitlist management to ensure timely service access.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum two years in health administration or related fields.
• Experience with Best Practice or Nookal preferred.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• WWCC, CRC, First Aid/CPR and driver’s license required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for consumers and stakeholders.
• Receive and coordinate referrals and records.
• Conduct initial intake, eligibility screening and triage.
• Maintain waitlist and service allocation data.
• Maintain confidential documentation and records.
