Job summary

BravoFit, the Australia franchisee of Planet Fitness, is seeking a friendly Membership Services Representative at our Prospect location. You will greet members, manage front desk, sell memberships, process sign-ups, and provide exceptional service to guests.

Key duties include answering questions, guiding tours, handling complaints, and maintaining the reception area. The role requires excellent phone communication, reliability, and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Past customer service experience is advantageous.
• Certifications: Certificate 3 in Fitness is advantageous.
• Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide certification or obtain within first three weeks.
• Must have WWC (working with children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD or proof that process has started.
• NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and saying goodbye to all members and guests.
• Monitoring club access to members and non-members.
• Answering questions and handling member complaints.
• Explaining the Judgement Free Zone (JFZ) to all members and non-members.
• Answering information calls over the phone and taking messages.
• Giving club tours.
• Selling memberships, completing membership agreements, and entering new members into the database.
• Operating the Point-of-Sale system and collecting past due balances.
• Scheduling PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Organising and maintaining the customer service front desk.
• Completing member welcome calls.
• Completing daily cleaning zones as assigned by management.
• Completing club walk-arounds.
• Assisting with housekeeping and restocking paper products in locker room.
• Performing start-of-day and end-of-day procedures.
• Supporting newer team members with questions and guidance.
• Completing monthly Black Card Spa maintenance as assigned by management.

Having an excellent understanding of the Judgement Free Zone and explaining the JFZ to all members and non-members.

Answering info calls over the phone and taking messages.

Giving club tours.

Selling memberships, completing membership agreements, and entering new members into the database.

Operating the Point-of-Sale system and collecting any balances of past due accounts.

Making appointments for PE @ PF hourly sessions.

Organizing and maintaining the customer service front desk.

Completing member welcome calls

Completing daily cleaning zones as assigned by management team

Completing club walk arounds

Assisting with club housekeeping and restocking any paper products in locker room.

Perform beginning of the day and end of the day procedures.

Making yourself available to newer team members for questions and guidance.

Completing monthly Black Card Spa maintenance as assigned by management team.

Experience/Qualifications

Previous customer service experience is advantageous

Certifications: Certificate 3 in Fitness is advantageous.

Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide club with a copy of the First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain within first three weeks.

Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started.

Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
