Job summary

BravoFit, the Australia franchisee of Planet Fitness, is hiring a Membership Services Representative for Maroochydore. You will welcome members, manage front desk, handle enquiries, tours, and help with memberships and bookings.

You will operate the POS system, support daily club operations, maintain cleanliness, and assist new team members. Strong communication, reliability, and a positive, energetic attitude are essential, along with First Aid/CPR and NPC checks when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is advantageous.
• Certificate III in Fitness is advantageous.
• Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide copy or willing to obtain within 3 weeks.
• WWC (Working With Children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from start date or proof process started.
• NPC certificate within 12 months of application date.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and saying goodbye to all members and guests.
• Monitoring club access to members and non-members.
• Answering questions and handling member complaints.
• Explaining the Judgement Free Zone to all members and non-members.
• Answering info calls and taking messages.
• Giving club tours.
• Selling memberships and completing membership agreements.
• Entering new members into the database.
• Operating the POS system and collecting balances of past due accounts.
• Arranging PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Maintaining the front desk and daily housekeeping tasks.
• Completing welcome calls for members.
• Daily cleaning zones and club walk-arounds.
• Restocking paper products in locker rooms.
• Begin and end of day procedures.
• Supporting newer team members with questions.

Greeting and saying goodbye to all members and guests.

Monitoring club access to members and non-members.

Answering any questions and handling member complaints.

Having an excellent understanding of the Judgement Free Zone and explaining the JFZ to all members and non-members.

Answering info calls over the phone and taking messages.

Giving club tours.

Selling memberships, completing membership agreements, and entering new members into the database.

Operating the Point-of-Sale system and collecting any balances of past due accounts.

Making appointments for PE @ PF hourly sessions.

Organizing and maintaining the customer service front desk.

Completing member welcome calls

Completing daily cleaning zones as assigned by management team

Completing club walk arounds

Assisting with club housekeeping and restocking any paper products in locker room.

Perform beginning of the day and end of the day procedures.

Making yourself available to newer team members for questions and guidance.

Completing monthly Black Card Spa maintenance as assigned by management team.

Experience/Qualifications

Previous customer service experience is advantageous

Certifications: Certificate 3 in Fitness is advantageous.

Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide club with a copy of the First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain within first three weeks.

Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started.

Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
