Job summary

BravoFit, the Australia franchisee of Planet Fitness, is hiring in Maroochydore to design personalised exercise programs for members and manage front desk operations during peak hours. You will ensure equipment is safe, maintain AED readiness, and monitor gym areas to maintain a welcoming, non-intimidating environment.

Certifications in Fitness (Cert III/IV) with First Aid/CPR and WWC are required, with a two‑month certification window if not yet completed. Prior supervisory experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must provide club with copies of valid certification and proof of ongoing certification.
• If not currently certified, must become certified within two months of hire.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred or 3–5 years in a similar field.
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred.
• Certifications from an approved Australian Fitness Provider.

Responsibilities

• Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their experience, medical background and goals.
• Submit all programs/logs to GM for review.
• Front desk operations during PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, tours, info calls, daily cleaning).
• Inspect all Matrix and Life Fitness equipment for malfunctions and report issues.
• Inspect AED equipment.
• Oil equipment weekly.
• Monitor the 30 min Express area to prevent misuse.

Remit

Design individual exercise programs for each member based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.

Submitting all individual training programs or workout logs, administered to members, to GM for review.

Front desk operations when not busy training during the PE @ PF hours (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, info calls, daily cleaning and refilling paper products)

Inspecting all Matrix and Life fitness equipment for possible malfunctions or damage and reporting if any are found.

Inspecting AED equipment.

Oiling the equipment (once per week).

Monitoring the “30 min Express” area for people who are using it inappropriately.

Experience/ Qualifications

Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness.

a. Must provide club with a copy of valid certification or proof you are working toward certification.

b. If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.

Prior supervisory experience preferredor 3 -5 years of experience in the similar field

Gym work experience and fitness background preferred

Certifications from an approved and accredited Australian Fitness Provider.

Must provide club with a copy of valid certification.

If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.

Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide club with a copy of the certification.

Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.

Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
