Job summary

BravoFit, the Australia franchise of Planet Fitness, is seeking a friendly front desk associate to support our members and guests at our Maroochydore club. You will greet members, answer questions, sell memberships, and manage the welcome process while representing the Judgement Free Zone ethos.

You will handle memberships, tour the facility, operate the POS, and maintain an organized reception. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to guide newcomers

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is advantageous.
• Certificate 3 in Fitness is advantageous.
• Currently certified in First Aid and CPR; provide certification or obtain within 3 weeks.
• WWC (Working with Children) certificate/number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD; proof required.
• National Police Check within 12 months of application date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and farewell members and guests.
• Monitor club access for members and non-members.
• Answer questions and handle member complaints.
• Explain the Judgement Free Zone to all members.
• Answer information calls and take messages.
• Give club tours.
• Sell memberships and enter new members into database.
• Operate the POS and collect balances due.
• Schedule PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Maintain the customer service front desk.
• Complete member welcome calls.
• Complete daily cleaning zones as assigned by management.
• Complete club walk-arounds.
• Assist with club housekeeping and restocking.
• Open and close procedures.
• Mentor newer team members.
• Complete monthly Black Card Spa maintenance.

Remit

• Greeting and saying goodbye to all members and guests.
• Monitoring club access to members and non-members.
• Answering any questions and handling member complaints.
• Having an excellent understanding of the Judgement Free Zone and explaining the JFZ to all members and non-members.
• Answering info calls over the phone and taking messages.
• Giving club tours.
• Selling memberships, completing membership agreements, and entering new members into the database.
• Operating the Point-of-Sale system and collecting any balances of past due accounts.
• Making appointments for PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Organizing and maintaining the customer service front desk.
• Completing member welcome calls
• Completing daily cleaning zones as assigned by management team
• Completing club walk arounds
• Assisting with club housekeeping and restocking any paper products in locker room.
• Perform beginning of the day and end of the day procedures.
• Making yourself available to newer team members for questions and guidance.
• Completing monthly Black Card Spa maintenance as assigned by management team.

Experience/Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is advantageous
• Certifications: Certificate 3 in Fitness is advantageous.
• Must be currently First Aid and CPR certified and provide club with a copy of the First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain within first three weeks.
• Must have your WWC (working with children) certificate/ number NSW & VIC, Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date or proof that the process has started.
• Must have completed a National Police Check certificate. NOTE- The NPC Certificate must be within 12 months of application date.
