Job summary

PCYC Innisfail is seeking a friendly Membership and Sales Officer to engage with members, answer inquiries, and upsell services. You will manage POS transactions, assist with admin, and conduct basic facility inspections around aquatic areas. This casual role supports a welcoming, community-focused environment.

You should have at least 12 months in customer service or sales, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and hold current First Aid/CPR (or be able to obtain). Junior rates may apply.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in customer service or sales.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain).
• Fitness/sport recreation qualification or interest is a nice to have but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to club enquiries and provide advice to members and customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell PCYC products and services.
• Prepare POS devices and handle cash registers and related admin tasks.
• Perform facility inspections and safety checks, cleaning duties as needed.
• Assist with water quality assessments at aquatic facilities.

Your NewRole

You will be at theforefront responding to club enquiries, providing advice andinformation as well as partaking in up-selling and cross-selling ofPCYC products and services. You will also prepare point of saledevices including cash registers and electronic swipe devices inaddition to some office administration. In Addition this role willundertake facility inspections, including travel paths, bathroomcleanliness and safety checks, completing cleaning duties whenrequired, and conducting water quality assessments at aquaticfacilities. AboutYou

• Minimum 12months experience working in a customer service or salesrole
