Job summary

PCYC Mackay is seeking a motivated Membership and Sales Officer to deliver exceptional customer service, handle enquiries and drive up-sell of PCYC products and services. You’ll operate POS devices and assist with basic admin tasks while contributing to a welcoming community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in customer service or sales.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain).
• Qualification in Fitness, Sport and Recreation or interest in developing in this area (nice to have but not required).

Responsibilities

• Respond to club enquiries with advice and information and up-selling.
• Prepare POS devices including cash registers and electronic swipe devices; some admin duties.
• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for members.

$37.41 per hour (please note that junior rates may apply)

We are currently seeking a motivated Membership and Sales Officer to enhance and support PCYC Mackay operations by ensuring all members and customers receive the highest level of customer service. If you are passionate about delivering excellence in customer service, then we need you!

Your New Role

You will be at the forefront responding to club enquiries, providing advice and information as well as partaking in up‑selling and cross‑selling of PCYC products and services. You will also prepare point of sale devices including cash registers and electronic swipe devices in addition to some office administration. About You
